The ability to test and demonstrate all our stock is paramount to us:

We have a multi-gauge layout fitted with passing loops, siding and headshunt, and reversing loop. 
The layout includes 'OO' 'N' and 'Z' gauges, all with full DCC control, and has been designed to show wiring features, and techniques, and the connection of accessories.  We've deliberately used examples of bad practice as well as good, and have used a mix of trackage and  components to recreate 'the real world'

Although we have an 'O' test track, we are loathe to call it a demonstration track, as it is only point to point, due to space constraints.

We have a policy of keeping a full demo set of  manufacturers equipment, which we use to familiarise ourselves, demonstrate to customers, and at workshops, also for testing and fault finding in our installation and repair workshop.  Though expensive, we feel that this is the only way we can guarantee the kind of service we want to offer you.

Controls includes Zimo, Gaugemaster (DCC & Analogue), Lenz, and locos feature both sound and standard decoders.
We have block control, fully automated points, signalling and automatic controls, all in all enough to really test features.

We are currently building a Zimo demonstration layout; this is specially designed to show Zimo's unique features, such as full bi-directional communication with accessories AND locomotives.  This layout will feature high quality components, tortoise point motors and one or two other, currently secret goodies!

In addition to the above we have a full Bachrus rolling road in all gauges, an analogue rolling road from Gaugemaster (best for running in), and a decoder test rig permitting easy plug in testing of all types of decoder.
