We are one of the first UK companies to specialise in Digital Command and Control systems for model railways and have always made it our goal to advise, educate and assist modellers in the mysteries of DCC.

Owned by Andy and Fiona Forty, DCC Supplies are keen users of technology which helps us provide service way above the staffing levels of the company, enabling focus on our customers’ requirements. You’ll find us at our shop, or at major exhibitions.

Our Full time staff consists of:

Fiona: Customer service, Technical services and Administration
Andy: Technical services, Dapol Specialist and Administration
Richard: Technical services and Dapol specialist
Ray: Holt Heath shop – Saturdays, Highdays and holidays

Each railway modeller has their own passion, DCC supplies exists to partner with you to complement your passion. We believe that we can supply the best of the DCC world, and can provide complete solutions, systems and control starter sets, or a single decoder; Just like many others; However we complement this with a series of workshop/learning events, links with manufacturers, conversion/upgrade services (fully insured), custom services and our passion and knowledge to back it all up. We have an advice helpline for customers, and plan to develop many other ways of helping you to extract the last gram of enjoyment from our hobby.

We respect choice, and can equally supply conventional controls, and are just as happy to discuss and provide any components you require, we also manufacture and supply our own range of constant lighting kits for conventional DC layouts. We provide the tools you require and the best of breed equipment & systems.

We can also provide bespoke or standard courses or workshops at your premises or club.

Our Story

Andy discovered DCC when starting out in model railways after a break of some 30 years, quickly finding that equipment and a decent choice of equipment was hard to find he founded DCC Supplies, using his experience in industrial controls, computer systems and networking it was an enjoyable choice!
